Count Down: Top 3 Do-It-At-Home Desserts

To me food should be about exciting your taste buds and getting creative! Sometimes this means taking your culinary sensation into your own hands. For lovers of all things sweet and beautiful this does not have to be difficult or time consuming … But it should be elegant and yummy!  Therefore  today I will count down my top 3 do-it-at-home desserts to spoil yourself or impress your guests.

3. White Chocolate Oreo Cookies

White Chocolate Oreo Cookies are a fun way to re-create the traditional choc-chip cookie experience and take it to a whole new level of choc-chip heaven.  These cookies will melt in your mouth! So fair warning you will not be able to stop at one! They are an ideal all round dessert, whether you need a last minute dinner party dessert savior or the perfect comfort food it is very hard to go wrong with this one!

TIP: Too much chocolate is never enough so don’t be scared to change up the ratios and even add in some milk chocolate choc-chips or add M&Ms for a colour action!

2.Nutella Fudge Brownies

PHOTO-CRED:

Nutella and fudge and brownie how could you go wrong? … Exactly you can’t! But be cautioned this is the epitome of chocolate on chocolate decadence. An extremely rich and yet oh so marvelous chocolate experience that is best saved for special occasions!

TIP: If the intensity of the fudge is too much too handle try adding some walnuts or mixed berries to top off your brownie, this will enhance the chocolate flavor whilst smoothing the richness of the fudge.

 1.Banoffee Pie.

Banoffee Pie. My number one choice! A significantly underrated dessert that perfectly balances caramel, biscuit, banana, cream and chocolate yet is SO simple! The bulk of the recipe can be done in just 15 minutes!

TIP: This recipe is quite basic so don’t be afraid to get creative and experiment, we suggest trying layering the ingredients differently, making the banoffie in jars or tall glasses, or trying your skills at sugar spinning to create completely unique cake toppers.
