With up to 2 million meals served daily across the globe, the Food for life global organisation was established in 1974 and aims to establish peace and prosperity through the distribution of pure vegetarian food. From the 1993 Sukhumi war, 2010 Pakistan floods, Earthquake in Nepal to the 2015 refugee crisis in Europe, The food for life organisation has actively been involved in providing millions of people with what is every human's basic right; food. The food for life organisation has been associated with influential role models around the world including Nelson Mandela who had stated that "food for life gave me the best day of my life" and Paul McCartney who also said "Food for life global does a tremendous job as the world largest food relief."
